L.I. Smiths Water and Sewer Team Engineers have provided
design and inspection of improvements, replacement, and expansions
for multiple water distribution system projects as well as
sewer collection projects.
Our
team also has extensive experience with on-site sewer treatment
systems, including standard septic systems, low-pressure (LPP)
sewers, STEP systems, and wetlands treatment.

Harbor
Utility District, Big Sandy, Benton County, TN: Provided
engineering and inspection services for the installation of
a new water production well, renovations to the water treatment
plant, installation of 12,000 feet of 8 PVC water mains
and 6,500 feet of 6 PVC water mains, and construction
of a new 200,000-gallon ground storage tank.
Henry
Sewer System, Henry County, TN: Engineering and inspection
services for the construction of a STEP sewer system and Constructed
Wetlands Treatment facility. Construction included approximately
12 miles of small diameter PVC force mains, 8 miles of service
connections, and 250 septic tank effluent pumps. This two-acre
constructed wetlands treatment is the first sewer treatment
facility of its type to be permitted and constructed by a
municipality in the State of Tennessee.
Industrial
Park Sewer Extensions, Paris, TN: Provided engineering
and inspection services for the construction of approximately
3,500 feet of 8 sanitary sewer main extensions in the
Paris Industrial Park to expand service into newly annexed
areas of the City.
Highway
218 Sewer, Paris, TN: Surveying & Engineering for
4,150 Linear Feet of 10 Sanitary Sewer (gravity) extension
along the S.R. 218 Bypass.
Hospital
Circle Sewer, Paris, TN: Surveying & Engineering for
600 linear feet of 8 sanitary sewer (gravity) relocation.
Lafayette,
Tennessee: Expansion of water plant from 1.25 MGD to 2.50
MGD
Dayton,
Tennessee, Summer City Phase 3:
Water line expansion to add 130,000 L.F.
