L.I. Smith’s transportation division is comprised of
a team of selected surveyors that specialize and have extensive
experience in road and highway projects. Our registered surveyors
are licensed in ten states including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida,
Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri,
and Tennessee. Our many clients regularly rely upon our commitment
to quality surveying and dependable performance. These clients
include contractors, developers, engineers, commercial business
planners, plus various government agencies such as municipalities,
counties, and the Departments of Transportation.
The
L.I. Smith transportation team offers staking of highways,
streets, bridges, benchmarks, centerline, right-of-way lines,
signage, slope stakes, subgrade blue-tops, pavement, curb
line and grade, utilities, culverts, drainage structures,
and much more.
Construction
Staking.
L.I. Smith & Associates, Inc. has provided construction
staking, lines and grades for a very diverse range of projects.
Experience ranges from staking major intersections, large
river bridges, power plants, and utility layouts to multi-unit
residential or commercial developments. The range and amount
of our personnel's construction experience enables them to
communicate effectively with contractors at each of our job
sites.
