Smith and Associates provides soil testing at project sites,
compaction and shrinkage tests, gradation, and field density
tests with a nuclear gage. We also perform concrete testing,
including cylinder breaks with ACI Technicians, offer mix
design as well as mix verification.

Smith also provides construction observation, has teamed on
various airport projects and runway expansions, as well as
providing bridge load tests on multiple bridge replacement
projects throughout western Tennessee.

expansion at the McGhee Tyson Airport, Knoxville, TN. This
was only for the subgrade and the sand cone method was used
to determine the compaction.

Provided Testing and surveying services for the Robert Sibley
Airport in Selmer, Tennessee. Established the proctors, Atterburg
Limits, Plasticity index, and performing soil compaction test,
along with asphalt density test for the asphalt.

Provided aerial photography and surveyed photo control points
for TLM & Associates in Jackson, TN on the Henry County
